A quick sketch of Ashleys on a recent trip to Italy was the inspiration behind our Twisted Vases. Meticulously made by hand in our Italian ceramics studio, these pieces are truly a modern work of art. The twisted vine details, large scale, and chalk-matte glaze create an heirloom quality that is classic, current and chic all at the same time.

Hours and hours are spent by a ceramic artist to painstakingly form, pinch and shape the porcelain clay into these master forms which are not only beautiful and unusual, but have the structural integrity to maintain their shapes when fired. The coup de grace is the extreme variation in subtle color and opacity of the reactive glaze--a range from dusty browns and grays to clear golden citron. Available in a vase and two bowl sizes. Not water tight.
